- Thursday, September 29th - Mammogram Van - The Women's Resource Center will be hosting a FREE mammogram van on Thursday, September 29th from 8:30-2:00 in the Walmart parking lot off of Highway 34 and Denver Avenue in Loveland. Mammograms will be available to women age 40 and over and income restrictions apply. Appointments are required and can be made by calling the Women's Resource Center at (970) 484-1902. Please let us know if you have any kind of breast implants as your appointment will require a little extra time.

 October 2nd-23rd - Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser - Our little pink friends are back! Send a flock of plastic pink flamingos to your friend’s (or victim’s) front yard for a day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Flocks can be scheduled for a donation of $30. Two flocks may be sent to their friend's lawn on the same day for $60. For more information visit www.womens-resource.org/flamingoflocking.
- October 3rd - Fundraising Night at Nordy’s Bar-B-Que & Grill - Enjoy dinner at Nordy’s Bar-B-Que & Grill on Monday, October 3rd, 2011 and 10% of your total bill will be donated to the Women’s Resource Center when you present the designated flyer to your server. - Thursday, October 4th - Ambassador Volunteer Training – WRC Ambassador Volunteers are a group of people passionate about providing women access to the health care services they need. Through WRC, Ambassadors will help the most vulnerable women in our community to live longer and healthier lives. They go out into the community, to churches, businesses, and community groups that they are already involved with and share the message of the Women’s Resource Center – that money shouldn’t be a barrier to a woman’s health. They are an extension of our staff, opening doors and sharing the story of the Women’s Resource Center with the community. Learn how you can impact our community by becoming an Ambassador Volunteer at a special training, Thursday, October 4th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at WRC. Please sign up in advance by clicking HERE.
- October 11th - Outreach Volunteer Training – Want to be an Outreach/Education Volunteer? Come to this special training to learn how to represent our organization at health and community fairs and how to conduct a workshop on women’s health. Training will be on Tuesday, October 11th, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at WRC. Please sign up in advance by clicking here.
