Current special volunteer opportunities:

• September 2010:
  • Tuesday, September 21^st – Breast Cancer Awareness Month Prep –Meet at the Women’s Resource Center offices from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21^st to help us make signs promoting Breast Cancer Awareness month to use in Old Town Square and during CSU’s Homecoming parade. Supplies will be provided but bring your ideas for sign design and slogans!
• October 2010:
  • Flockers – Be in charge of a flock of pink flamingos moving them from house to house each night for twelve nights during our Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser. Flockers are needed from October 3^rd through October 15^th in Fort Collins or October 17^th through 29^th in Loveland.
    
  • Sunday, October 10^th - Breast Cancer Awareness event in Old Town Fort Collins- Join us in Old Town Square from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday October 10^th as we hand out information and pink balloons in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Volunteers are needed for set up, handing out balloons and information and clean up.
    
  • Friday, October 15^th – CSU Homecoming Parade – Help represent the Women’s Resource Center and get the word out about Breast Cancer Awareness Month by walking in the CSU homecoming parade with us. More details TBD – check back soon!
    
  • Saturday, October 30^th - Boo Ball Support – Come to help out at our biggest fundraiser of the year, BOO BALL! On Saturday, October 30^th we will need help to set up, check in guests, monitor the silent auction, assist our band and help clean up. Don’t forget to wear your best Halloween costume!
