memories... WRC staff cheered on more than 1,250 walkers at Avon Foundation Walk for Breast Cancer of the Rocky Mountains at our "BOOB-A-LISCIOUS" Support Station. Walkers were hot and tired by the time they reached our tent at mile 36, but our kazoos, air horns, vuvuzelas (of World Cup fame), pom poms, water guns and RIDICULOUS costumes gave them a welcome lift. For the 8th year, WRC received a grant from the foundation for outreach, breast health education and connecting low-income women for free or reduced-fee mammograms and diagnostics for breast cancer.
