A celebration of women and music, the Melanie Susuras Band will open for Wendy Woo and the Woo Band, each playing a diverse mix of jazz, folk, rock, country and rhythm and blues.

The event includes a VIP reception featuring local beer, wine, a sampling of hors d'oeuvres, dancing, and the Soothe your Soul silent auction featuring merchandise and gift certificates from area salons, restaurants and retail stores. (See photos from Women Rock the Sunset 2004)

9:00 - 9:10 Announcements and presentation of Women's Rock Award by Melissa Selby, Executive Director of WRC
9:10 - 10:30 Wendy Woo Band on main stage - Silent auction winners announced during intermission
     

All proceeds benefit the Women's Resource Center.
