Since moving to Colorado in 1995 with her husband Steve and son Jeff, Melissa has volunteered hundreds of hours to regional non profits. She decided to focus her attention in supporting the Women’s Resource Center because of an early life experience that left her family without insurance for many years. With the growing number of un or under insured people of Larimer County, the need for the WRC is only going to grow. In her spare time, Melissa can be found doing day-of-event volunteer work for other area agencies, gardening, cooking, or hiking with Steve. |

She is a new member to the board, and hopes to use her knowledge of banking and finance to help the Women's Resource Center. Angie's interest in the welfare of women stems from her family. As a single mother, her sister has faced many obstacles and has benefited from organizations such as the WRC. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Zach, for 7 years. They recently purchased their first home in Fort Collins, and are looking forward to becoming established members of the community. Angie enjoys spending her free time doing pottery and reading. |

Jim has a strong background in organizational systems and customer service development and training. An agency, such as the Women's Resource Center, could have made a significantly positive impact in her life and that of my siblings. As a father of two daughters, Jim is drawn to advocate and spend my volunteer time to improve the life of women not only today but for tomorrow, as well. Jim likes to spend his free time with his family in the outdoors. He is an avid runner, cyclist and skier. He enjoys hiking, playing soccer and working in the yard with his wife. |
